New Places, New Foods
Oh, hello.
It’s nice to see you again.
Let me dust off a little in here. Please, take a seat. I won’t be long.
There! Got the motor running on this blog. I think we’re back in business.
First off, let me apologize for my owner/writer Happy Jessie‘s absence. She and Peter just moved halfway across the country, to the land of corn and endless sky. And a tall man in a stovepipe hat.
That’s right! We’re in the land of Lincoln, a.k.a. Illinois.
I shake my head at Jessie for taking so long to get back to me. On the plus side, she can lift a watermelon with one arm.
So there’s that.
A new place means new adventures, new restaurants, new recipes, new foods. Stay tuned for more from the Midwestern US!
Toodle pip,

Yay! Glad you are back!
Can’t wait to hear all about what has been going on with you. :)
Welcome back!
So nice to “hear” from you! Illinois is great…hope that you will both be very happy there!
Hooray!!! So good to see a brand new post from you, Jessie! :-)
Can’t wait to hear more about your adventures and witness your impressive food related weightlifting skills ;-) It’s been too long!
So excited to see a post from you, Jessie! Can’t wait to hear more about your new adventures. And I love your watermelon lifting skills, lol!

Hi Jessie! How are you? I am glad you are updating again. I can see it’s been very busy and exciting for you and Peter :) Congratulations on your move, and hope you are settling in well. I actually just moved as well, though it’s nothing to boast about in terms of distance (just to a different apartment in the same building, where I will be a Resident Advisor this year!). I am getting close to getting my new place organized and settled in. It’s good to let the ‘organized chi’ flow again ;) Anyway, just wanted to say hi. Take care and have fun!
Hi Min! Congrats on your move (and a move is a move, no matter how large or small the distance ;) ). Good luck with the last of the organization! I keep thinking I’m done, and then I find something else to “finish up”. Still, I’m definitely feeling that “organized chi” :)
Great to hear from you! Hope all is well!

Yoohoo!!!! Long time no post, my dear friend. I haven’t been blog reading lately, but when I saw you posting again I just had to drop by to visit and say I’VE MISSED YOU!!! Haha. So Illinois, eh? I think I need to read more. Was just skimming through your posts trying to get to this one. Lol. Anyways, hope all is going well with you, my dear. Will try to drop by when I can, but life with kids is non-stop. I don’t even comment on blogs anymore, only when I can. You’ll always be one of my faves though! Keep those FB posts coming. Glad to see you back blogging again! Btw, congrats on your guys’ move. Hope you’re both loving your new place!
I’ve missed you too, LeeQs!!!! I completely understand how life is busy (and who could resist tons of time with K & L, lol ;) ), so absolutely no worries! I do miss your posts, though :) Thanks for stopping by – I’m honored!! Take care, LeeQie!!
