Red Bean Hummus with Sweet Paprika

Enjoy this high-protein, high-fiber hummus with fresh-cut vegetables or whole grain crackers for a twist on a traditional snack!

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz) can red kidney beans drained and rinsed
  • 2 cloves garlic peeled
  • Juice from one lemon
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sweet paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients except for olive oil to a blender. Blend for 30 seconds or until smooth. Scrape down sides of blender with spatula.

  • Blend for another 30 seconds while slowly adding olive oil. Pause to scrape down sides of blender as needed. Add additional olive oil or water until desired consistency is reached.
